Brown Butter and Sage Focaccia Stuffing🍂🧈🍞 aka a delicious way to use leftover focaccia! I’m going to start making more videos with ways you can use leftover focaccia—because we do NOT waste food in Soko’s Kitchen!! And the focaccia recipe is pinned to my reels :) Recipe - Grab some focaccia and dice until you have about 3 cups. - Then, dice 2 carrots, 2 stalks of celery, and 1 small onion. - Add the veggies to a dutch oven or large pot with a tbsp of olive oil. Sprinkle in 1/4 tsp of salt. Saute on medium heat for 5 minutes. - Then, add 12 oz of mild Italian sausage. Saute everything for another 5-7 minutes, or until mostly cooked. - Add in the focaccia and stir. - Then, pour in 2 cups of chicken stock and stir. - Let this all cook together, covered, on low heat, while you make the brown butter. - Melt 3 tbsp of butter in a sauce pan on low-medium heat. Once it’s melted, add 6 sage leaves. Continue to swirl and stir the butter while it cooks, so it browns, not burns. This process should take about 5-7 minutes. The butter will brown and start to smell toasty! - Transfer the focaccia, veggie, and sausage mixture to a large baking dish. Drizzle the brown butter and sage on top. - Bake on 350 for 45 mins and enjoy!! #thanksgivingrecipes #feedfeed #fallrecipes
