1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 & 3/4 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of cane sugar, 2 tsp of baking powder, 1/4 tsp of salt, and the zest of 1 orange.
2. Cut in 1/2 cup of cold unsalted butter using a bench scraper or your hands.
3. Make a hole in the center and whisk together 1/4 cup of heavy cream and 1 large egg. Then, mix everything together until a shaggy dough forms.
4. Mix in 1/2 cup of cranberries (fresh, frozen, or dried works) and 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips.
5. Transfer to a clean surface and work into a dough using your hands. Form into a disc (about 1 inch thick). Cut the dough in half until you have 8 scones.
6. Transfer to a lined baking sheet and bake on 400°F for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
7. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before you drizzle with some melted white chocolate!
8. Store in an airtight container. These will last 2-3 days at room temp or about a week in the fridge!
