GARLIC BUTTER CHEESESTEAK PRETZEL BOMBS 🤯🧈🏈 for the last gameday recipe of the season!! Recipe (makes 8–double for a larger group!) - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp of water, 1 tsp of instant yeast, and 1 tbsp of cane sugar. - Then, mix in 1 & 3/4 cups of all purpose flour and 1 tsp of salt until a shaggy dough forms. - Transfer to a clean surface and knead until a dough forms. Transfer back to the mixing bowl, and let this rise for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. - In the meantime, in a saucepan over medium heat, sauté 1/4 cup of diced bell pepper and 1/4 cup of diced white onion in oil until the onion is translucent. Then, add in 1/4 lb of thinly sliced beef steak. Sauté until JUST cooked. Transfer this to a bowl and place in the fridge until your dough is ready. - Then, make the garlic butter by melting down 1/4 cup of butter with four cloves of minced garlic. Set aside. - Slice 1/4 lb of provolone cheese into squares. - Once the dough is ready, divide it out into eight equal pieces. Flatten the pieces of dough and layer provolone cheese & about 2 tbsp of the steak and pepper mixture on top. Seal the dough around it and transfer to a lined baking sheet. - Preheat your oven to 425F. - Make a baking soda water bath by whisking together 1/2 cup of warm water with 1 tbsp of baking soda. Brush the dough with this mixture and transfer to the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. - Once they’re done baking, brush them with the garlic butter and top with fresh parsley!
