Instructions

First, start by making the lavender simple syrup. Add 1/2 cup of water and 3 x 2 inch sprigs of lavender to a sauce pan. Bring to a simmer on medium heat. Once simmering, cover and turn to low. Let simmer for 10 minutes and then turn off the heat. (Optional: add 1 tbsp of butterfly pea tea, cover again, and let sit to infuse for about 5-10 minutes). Stir in 1/4 cup of sweetener of choice (e.g., honey). Let cool before straining. Next, juice 7 lemons (should yield 1 cup). Pour the fresh lemon juice into a pitcher, along with 1 1/2 cups of water. Next, pour in the lavender simple syrup. Pour over ice and enjoy.
